Craft Your Own Homemade Sea Moss Gel:

  1. Rinse a handful of sea moss well (30g per 500ml), being sure to pick out all natural organic matter such as shells and sea sticks.
  2. Put the clean sea moss in a glass or stainless steel bowl, with enough SPRING OR PH BALANCED water to completely submerge it. You can also add a squeeze of fresh lime or lemon, and soak slices to neutralize the sea moss taste.
  3. Soak the sea moss for approx. 12 hours (minimum 4).
  4. Remove and strain sea moss from water, then place in a blender with just enough water to cover the sea moss and blend until it makes a smooth paste.
  5. Squeeze lemon or lime juice into the gel, to help preserve longer.
  6. Store in an air tight mason jar, or container in fridge for up to 4 weeks.
  7. Your sea moss gel is now ready to be used in your smoothies, tea, desserts and even face masks!
